THE CAMP

Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp
159 Empire Road
Copake, NY 12516
Directions

The wedding weekend will be at the Berkshire Hills Eisenberg Camp in Copake, NY. We have been to a couple of weddings at summer camps (and even met at one) so we knew we wanted to have a celebration that let us spend the whole weekend with our friends and family in one place.

You are welcome to stay the weekend or just come for the ceremony. We'll be happy to see you either way.

BHEC is right on the Massachusetts border, pretty centrally located for most of you. You can check out more photos and see what to expect on their website.

CEREMONY

Saturday June 18th at 5pm

Everyone is welcome, even if you don't stay overnight at camp.

Recommended attire:
BHEC is certainly nice for a summer camp, but is definitely not a formal place. We recommend wearing clothes similar to what you'd wear to a graduation party or a nice summer backyard party. The ceremony will be on the lawn by the lake and the reception will be in the dining hall.

STAY

Rooms
BHEC has motel-style rooms with private bathrooms. Each room comes with two twin beds. Parents with small children can request an additional mattress so you can be in one room. Or we can give you multiple rooms.

Amenities
Parking, wifi, swimming pool, pool table, foosball, movie theater, hiking trails, wedding olympics.

Meals
All meals are included for weekend guests. This is a perk and a requirement because BHEC is a fully kosher camp. We are not allowed to bring in food unless it is kosher. (If you travel with snacks, check out our snacking guide) The kitchen will provide food for everyone and accommodate all dietary restrictions. If you have any food allergies, please note them when you reserve your room.

Rates
Your rate includes lodging for two nights and five meals (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch, Sunday breakfast and lunch). Saturday dinner is on us, of course:
$150 per person (12 years old and up)
$75 per child (5-12 years old)
children under 5 are free

Let us know if you'll be staying overnight when you RSVP and we will mail you booking info.

REGISTRY

(You don't have to buy things from Amazon. If you find a gift somewhere else, please mark it as purchased on the Amazon list.)

We live in a small house that is already packed to the gills with stuff (some of which we got from you -- thanks!).

We've registered for a few things we could use, but we're not in this for the gifts. We just want an excuse to spend time with all of you and getting married seemed like a pretty good one.

If nothing on the registry strikes your fancy and you really want to get us something, we'd also be delighted to receive gift cards: LLBean (everything is guaranteed for life!), REI (for our Alaskan honeymoon), or Amazon (for anything else we could ever want).

FAQ

This is a true FAQ, so more questions will be added as they are asked. Do you have a question? Email us!

Do you two keep kosher? Nope! We just really like the camp.

Did you eat the Ring Pops that you got engaged with? They broke and fell to the ground. The bees nearby were pleased but we decided to just throw them away.

Do the bathrooms have showers or tubs? Handicap accessible showers (there's no ledge to climb over to enter).

Will there be alcohol? Yes! Many types of alcohol are kosher. We'll be providing wine and beer on Saturday.
